A Fund for the Future

The Arts Foundation of New Zealand was established to enable Patrons to invest in talented artists for the benefit of all New Zealanders. A leader in its field, the Foundation has developed a reputation based on the integrity of its processes and the inspiration behind its programmes.

The Foundation welcomes support at any level and/or enquiries regarding the establishment of new programmes to support the arts initiated by donors. There are a number of ways in which you can become involved; all support assists the Foundation to build its Endowment, for now and for the future.

The benefits of belonging

As a supporter of the Arts Foundation you will be contributing significantly to artistic life in New Zealand. You will also:

  • Receive priority invitations to Foundation events, including Icon, Laureate and New Generation Award Functions and Forsyth Barr Laureates-On-Stage held in cities throughout New Zealand.
  • Receive the Foundation's in-house bulletin "Applause" that will keep you up to date on the growing careers of artists, their achievements, Awards and other news.
  • Receive regular email updates detailing current work, exhibitions and performances of the Foundation's family of artists.
  • Be entitled to nominate candidates for Foundation Awards (e.g. Laureate and Icon).
  • Be listed as a supporter in the Annual Report, Applause, the website and other material (unless you request otherwise).

For annual contributors or one off donations over $25,000, you will also:

  • Receive entitlements as a financial member of the Foundation with the right to vote and attend Annual General Meeting and elect Governors.
